If you don’t have a paid account, the service will display endless Searching Databases animations – a misleading tactic used by many people search tools, making you think the service is more thorough than its competitors.

Most people search sites allow you to search by name, phone number and address. But what if you know none of these things? This is one of BeenVerified’s standout differences. Like the rest, it allows you to search by name, phone, and address, but it also allows you to search by email address, social media username, and VIN number. This means that even if you don’t know much about someone, there’s still a pretty good chance you’ll be able to find them.

BeenVerified People Search

You can learn more about someone by running a people search if you know their full name. To get a detailed report:

1. Sign up for a membership and sign into your account.

2. Type the person’s name into the search bar then click Search.

3. If you searched for a common name, you’re likely to see multiple results – and this is where the filter becomes useful.

You can enter the city the person has lived in or their age to narrow down your search results. BeenVerified will finally provide a list of people who might match your criteria on the first results page. 

4. Click View person report to open a detailed report. The report might contain information like the person’s aliases, age, a list of known addresses (city and state), current and past phone numbers, email addresses, online account links, a list of known relatives, criminal or traffic records, jobs and education details, assets, and more.

You can click Monitor in the toolbar at the top of the report if you want BeenVerified to send you notifications when more information is added to the person’s report.

All the plans are limited to 100 reports a month, and give you access to all BeenVerified features. Unfortunately, one drawback is that they renew automatically unless you manually cancel the subscription – one thing many users complain about. Is BeenVerified Accurate?

During our test, BeenVerified was fairly accurate. You can easily find basic information about people, including their full name, age, address history, etc.

The difficult part starts when you want more intimate information like a recent phone number, address, social media profiles, and criminal records. While a lot of the time you can get this information on those sites, they might be inaccurate or outdated.

On the other hand, whether or not you get accurate and comprehensive information depends on the person you’re looking into. If they left a sizeable digital footprint, then you’re likely to find a lot of information. If they hide their tracks, and opt-out people search services, chances are you’ll have a difficult time finding them with any people search tool.
