Finding someone’s profile on dating sites can be tricky since most sites don’t allow keyword searching.
If you’re trying to locate specific profiles on dating sites and you know some information about the person (e.g. their name, phone number, email, etc.), here are a few methods you can try. Let’s dive in!
1. Try Google Advanced Search
Google Advanced Search is a feature provided by the Google search engine. It allows you to specify your search criteria to obtain more relevant and targeted results. You can take advantage of this feature and see if it can help you locate someone’s dating profiles:
Step 1: Go to Google Advanced Search.
Step 2: Type in the person’s name (or their social media username) into all these words, then type the URL of the dating site into the box next to site or domain. For example, tinder.com. Click Advanced Search.
Step 3: Look through the search results to see if you can identify the person’s profile from there.
Step 4: Repeat the steps on websites where you suspect the person would be on.
2. Try Creating a Profile with the Number
Every time we set up an account for a website, it asks for our phone number to email address. To see if someone has a profile on a dating site, you can try signing up on the site with their phone number or email if you have this information. (You might want to start your investigation with popular dating apps like Tinder, Bumble, OKCupid, Match, Hinge, and Plenty of Fish.)
If the person has a profile linked to that specific number or email, it will display something like “this phone number is already in use”. While this might be able to tell you if someone ever created a profile on a dating site, it doesn’t mean that they are still active on that site.
If the website lets you move on to the next screen successfully, that means the phone number or email has not been used on that site.
3. Intelius
Intelius is a people search engine that focuses exclusively on providing people-related information, including names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, social media/dating site accounts, and more. It’s probably the faster solution to run a dating profile reverse lookup.
All you need to do is enter the person’s phone number into Intelius, and it will compile data related to the person from various sources, into one report.
4. Social Catfish
Another tool you might want to try is Social Catfish. Much like Intelius listed above, this site digs up a wealth of information on the person you’re trying to find, leveraging millions of data points and dozens of data sources.
What we like most about Social Catfish is that it offers more search options than most people search tools – you can search for people by name, phone number, email, address, username, and even photos. And its reports are always impressive, which may include information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, social media profiles, photos, associates, and more when available.
5. PeopleFinders
PeopleFinders is a powerful online investigation service. With data collected from public forums, social media, county records, state records, and federal records, it’s an excellent tool for digging up information about people.
If you’ve ever placed personal information anywhere online, whether that be your email address, birth date, or location, PeopleFinders is likely to have it. You can run a free reverse phone lookup with this tool but it doesn’t provide as much detail as you get with a membership.
6. TruthFinder
TruthFinder is another website that gathers lots of information, including phone numbers, full names, addresses, emails, job history, social media accounts, relatives, etc.
You can also use TruthFinder to look up someone by phone number. After it is done searching, click on the report and head to the SOCIAL tab to check the person’s social media account information.
