How to Find Your Old Myspace Profile in 2024

Myspace was once the epicenter of a generation’s online universe. There are times when you might want to revisit your old Myspace profile to relive memories.

If you’re looking to access your old Myspace, you’re in the right place. Here are some tips to help you locate your profile:

1. Search Directly on Myspace

We’ll start by searching your profile directly on Myspace.

Do you still remember your username, display name, or the email address you used to register your profile? If so, a simple search of any of this information should bring up your profile. Just head to Myspace, click the Search link in the upper left-hand corner of the site and type the information.

2. Try Searching Your Myspace Connections

For many Myspace seekers, it’s very common that you probably don’t remember any details about your Myspace account. But can you recall any of your old connections on this platform? The good news is, if you can find any of your Myspace connections’ accounts, you can locate your own in their Connection list.

So instead of searching for yourself, try looking up the usernames of your Myspace friends. (Or if you know any of them in reality, an easier way is to reach out to them to see if they still have access to their profile.)

A simple way to do this is by Googling “Myspace + your Myspace friend’s name”—for example, “Myspace + John Doe”.

Here is a trick to save you time, start with searching for those who put you as their Top 8 because you’re likely to locate your profile right on their profile page.

If it doesn’t work for you, search for your other Myspace friends and see if you can locate your account through their connections. To see if you’re on someone’s Connection list, click on the People he’s/she’s connected to link on their profile page and browse through the list.

3. Search by Email Addresses

Myspace requires you to sign up with an email address and it allows you to find profiles by searching email addresses.

So the first step is to try listing all your email accounts and searching each of them on the website. If not, try recalling if you have the email address of someone you’ve connected with on Myspace (like a family member, a classmate, or an old coworker), and search for their email address instead.

To do this, simply go to Myspace and type your email address into the search bar. If there is a Myspace profile linked to an email address, a profile will appear.

If you’ve successfully located a friend’s Myspace profile, check their Connection list and see if you can find your profile there.

4. Use a People Search Tool

If you still can’t find your Myspace profile, consider using a people search tool like Social Catfish. It’s designed to find information about individuals, including their social media links, contact details, public records, and associates.

You can look up your name with Social Catfish to see if it can find any information on you. If it does, Social Catfish will put all the associated information into a report. Once you purchase a membership, you can unlock the full report. The social media link will be located under the Websites section. Check there to see if you can find your Myspace profile link there.

5. Try Wayback Machine

Myspace lost 12 years worth of user data a few years back. Chances are even if you located the profile, you’d be disappointed that your images, posts, and songs are lost.

If this happens to you, you can use the Wayback Machine to see if you can retrieve any lost content.

  1. Go to https://web.archive.org/.
  2. Enter myspace.com/yourMySpacename .
  3. If the Wayback Machine has archived that page, it’ll come up with a scrollable collection of years. Click on the year you want.
  4. Select one of the blue dots then click on the time to go to the link to the page as captured at that time.
  5. You’ll be able to view a snapshot of the Myspace page.
