How to get Audible for free | Audible 3-Month Trial

Audible is an audiobook subscription service provided by Amazon. It has the biggest audiobook library on the market and lets you download and listen to audiobooks on your phone, tablet, and computer, wherever you go and whenever you want.

In this guide, we’ll cover how to get Audible free trials and how you can cancel your Audible plan so you won’t get charged after the trial.

How to Get Audible Free Trial

1. Sign up for the 30-day Audible free trial

Amazon is offering free trials for both Audible Plus and Audible Premium Plus. (What are the differences between these two? In short, both plans allow unlimited listening to the Audible Plus catalog, but with Audible Premium Plus, you get one credit per month for an audiobook of the member’s choice from the entire Audible catalog.)

To sign up for the free trial, follow the instructions below:

1) Go to the Audible page.

2) Click Get 30 days free button and follow the on-screen instructions to get the free trial.

There you have it – the Audible free trial for 30 days. Note you’ll be charged $14.95 a month after the trial ends, if you don’t cancel the subscription. If you don’t want to get charged, follow the instructions in the next part to see How to Cancel Audible Plan.

2. Claim Amazon Prime perks

While the Audible membership is not included with Prime membership, there are additional benefits for Amazon Prime members.

Simply visit the Amazon Prime page and click Start your 30-day free trial to get a free trial. If you’re a student, make sure you check the Amazon Prime Student offer to see if you’re eligible to claim the 6-month Amazon Prime trial.

When you sign up through the Amazon Student Prime account, you get 2 free Audible credits (1 credit = 1 title) with the trial. You can use the credit on any bestsellers or new releases. Then, if you go to cancel at the end of your free Audible trial, they’ll usually offer you a few more months at a discount.

If you don’t cancel your membership, you’ll be charged $9.99/mo. after the trial ends. If you don’t know how to cancel, check the next section on How to Cancel Audible Plan.

How to Cancel Audible Plan

If you don’t like Audible or you just don’t want to get charged after the trial ends, you can cancel anytime. After the cancellation, you can still keep the books you’ve already purchased, and you can receive Audible books as gifts from others, but you’ll lose credits on your accounts, and you won’t be able to return your audiobooks. So be sure that you handle any returns or exchanges prior to canceling your membership.

Canceling your membership won’t affect your free trial, so you can do this anytime during the trial period. Follow the instructions to see how to do it:

1) Go to Audible.com and log in to your account.

2) Click View Account.

3) Click Membership & package charges.

4) Click Membership details.

5) Click Cancel Membership.

6) Click No, continue cancellation.

7) Click No, continue cancellation.

8) Click Finish canceling.

After canceling your Audible membership, you won’t be charged again.
